In short

Who operates this website?

Aesthetic Launch Lab, a UK aesthetics digital specialist. This site is an information resource and not a clinic. It provides no treatment, employs no practitioners, holds no patient records and recommends no provider. Enquiries sent through it are handled by Aesthetic Launch Lab.

What this site is

Cosmetic Skin Clinic London is a reference on skin treatment for people in London who are trying to work out what they have and what would actually help. It is organised around findings rather than devices: texture, pigment, redness and skin quality are four different problems, and each responds to something different.

It is operated by Aesthetic Launch Lab, a UK digital specialist working in the aesthetics sector. Enquiries sent through this site are read and answered by Aesthetic Launch Lab at hello@aestheticlaunchlab.com.

What this site is not

  • It is not a clinic. There are no premises, no treatment rooms and no appointment book.
  • It employs no doctors, nurses, dermatologists or aesthetic practitioners.
  • It does not give medical advice and is not a substitute for an in-person assessment by a suitably qualified and regulated practitioner.
  • It does not recommend, rank, rate or endorse any clinic or practitioner.
  • It takes no payment from treatment providers. No advertising, no directory, no sponsorship and no referral arrangement.

Four rules, and what each one removes

No invented specifics
No practitioner, patient, price, address, opening time, review, rating, award, accreditation or result is named or described anywhere on this site, because none exists to describe. Where a page would ordinarily carry one, it explains the absence instead.
No results gallery
This site treats nobody, so it has no results. Publishing any would be an invention. Cosmetic photography can also be transformed without editing anything, simply by changing lighting, angle, distance, expression and make-up, which is set out on how to read results.
No prices
A figure detached from the diagnosis, the device, the number of sessions and what is included is not information. See what it costs.
No recommendations
Ranking clinics that have not been assessed would be worthless at best. Every page instead teaches the verification steps that let you assess a provider yourself, using registers held by regulators rather than logos held on websites.

Editorial approach

Pages describe mechanisms, indications, contraindications, recovery, complications and the regulatory position as it stands in the United Kingdom. Where a treatment can make a condition worse, that is stated. Where the correct advice is to see a GP or a dermatologist rather than a cosmetic clinic, that is stated too, and it appears more often on this site than most.

Nothing here is medical advice. Regulation in this field has been moving for several years and may have changed since a page was written. Verify the current position with the relevant regulator and with a qualified practitioner before relying on anything.

Enquiries

Get the diagnosis right first.

Nearly every disappointing skin result starts with the wrong problem being treated. This site exists so that you can work out what you are actually looking at before anyone points a device at it, and so that you know which questions a good clinic will welcome.
